The difference is diamond recruitable girls will SOMETIMES give you a diamond instead of the usual cash. This does not happen all the time. In order to recruit them, all of their events either need diamonds, clothes that cost diamonds, or furniture that costs diamonds. The first diamond recruitable girl you recruit will require one event, the second two, and so on, but the amount of diamonds for each event lessens when there are more events you need to complete to recruit a girl.
